Intellectual Twister

This weeks episode of This American Life is incredible…it will make you rethink that laptop, ipad and iphone you are currently using.  Does our insatiable desire for goods come at a cost?   And can we live with that cost?  What is social responsibility in the world of technology production? 

I own apple products as well as other electronics from different manufacturers and it made me think about where those products came from.  I think about this with my food, why not with my products.  Is it time to go locavore with my products as well?
